BESPOKE REPLACEMENT DWELLING, CAR PORT & EXTERNAL WORKS £1.08M

M.A Humm Ltd are pleased to have supported a Milton Keynes-based main contractor in successfully securing this substantial bespoke residential project in Oakley, Bedfordshire. The scheme comprises demolition of the existing dwelling and associated structures followed by construction of a high-quality replacement bungalow, detached car port and extensive external works.

The works include:

• Demolition of the existing dwelling and outbuildings, including removal of existing foundations and site clearance.
• Deep trench-fill foundations, suspended beam-and-block ground floor construction and associated substructure works.
• Traditional masonry construction incorporating facing brickwork, structural steelwork and specialist roof trusses.
• Pitched and flat roof construction, including tiled roof finishes and specialist roofing details.
• Aluminium windows and doors together with extensive glazed openings.
• Solar PV installation, air-source heat pump, underfloor heating and associated mechanical and electrical services.
• Full internal fit-out including drylining, plastering, internal joinery, floor and wall finishes, sanitaryware and fixtures and fittings.
• Bespoke oak-framed car port incorporating black feather-edge cladding and natural slate roofing.
• New foul and surface-water drainage, attenuation and associated below-ground infrastructure.
• Extensive hard landscaping, parking and turning areas, boundary walls, fencing, gates and external works.
